Is there a way to get information about 
all port numbers, bus, target, LUN and what devices are connected to those port numbers?

For example:
The event log shows following error:

MiniportEventDescription: AhciPortErrorRecovery
  PortNumber: 0
  Bus: 0
  Target: 0
  LUN: 0


However, I have difficulties figuring out what device is connected to port number 0

I am sure I am overlooking a feature, but which one...

Select Hardware, Devices, expand "Disk drivers" and check each entity.

Sorry, to be frank, I checked that item already before posting, but eh .. port#, bus, target, lun where to find them?

Or are these items labelled differently?

When comparing these entries, specifically with regards to the port numbers, etc. I am unable to exactly 'match' those with SIW data.
Maybe you can shed some light on it?

The SCSI interface doesn't define a port: https://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/SCSI-2.4-HOWTO/scsiaddr.html

Try to find the problematic devices(s) using GUIDs.

I do think there is something wrong with Windows and drivers and so on. As I am checking out the event log more deeply now, I have discovered that Windows generates a lots of Event Log errors (500, 502, 507) for instance when powering on the printer, insert a cardreader, mount an encrypted container.
All is working fine, but so many errors, sometimes 4-5-6x per second, that's weird ...
