#1
Sad

Running Windows 11 24H2 (OS Build 26100.3037)

Using SQLite3, version 3.49.0 (2025-01-28 12:50:17)

Using SQLite3 ODBC Driver, version 1.3.4455.00.00, Christian Werner Software & Consulting, SQLIT3ODBC.DLL, 10/23/2023
  Data Source Name: c:\COL-siw\Inv-XML\col-siw.db

  Directory of c:\COL-siw\InvXML
  02/04/2025  12:28 PM                0 col-siw.db

Using SIW2ODBC 2023 64-bit v13.2.0204

XML files created with command "SIW /all /log:xml=%computername%\%computername%" using (SIW 2023 v13.6.0621a 64-bit Technicians Version - Old Version of SIW (594 Days)

Trying to import 23 *.xml files to ODBC Data Source SIW. All *.xml files contain header:
<report Title="SIW 2023 v13.6.0621a 64-bit Technician's Version — Old Version of SIW (589 Days)" computer_name="<computer name>" language="LNG_EN" date="2025-01-30 14:20:13 (Thursday, January 30, 2025)" xml_version="2.6">

I get this error when executing c:\col-siw\InvXML>..\siw2odbc *.xml
SIW to ODBC 2023 64-bit v13.2.0204 - Importing from [*.xml]
SIW to ODBC 2023 64-bit v13.2.0204 - Connecting to ODBC...
  DSN=[SIW] DB=[SQLite 3.43.2 C:\COL-siw\InvXML\col-siw.db]
  ExtractFromXml error
  SIW to ODBC 2023 64-bit v13.2.0204 - Done after 0 Seconds

Could there be an issue with siw2odbc (v13.2.0204) and the *.xml files generated with SIW 2023 v13.60621a xml_version 2.6?

Using current versions, everything works fine.

Is there a fix or work around?

Apologies, but we only provide support for the latest version of SIW.
