getting passwords when the machine won't boot
#1

Do the developers monitor this forum?

I have a win vista machine that won't boot. The user has lots of stored passwords for websites, etc. Would be NO problem getting them before rebuilding machine with SIW if windows was running.

But can't boot. Is there a way to read the registry at this point to get SIW to give the passwords?? I can boot from a Linux USB and get to the hard drive for the files.

No, you cannot get stored passwords if you cannot boot.
