License detection for Office versions...
#1

Hello.

I'm using the Technician version of your software, latest update (Jan). I'm trying to track the license assets on an office of PCs. Right now, the Office installs are all over the place, but the common one seems to be Office 2003 Basic with PowerPoint 2007 PLAYER installed.

Is there a good way, looking at the full HTML report generated from SIW (all options on), to differentiate whether an install of PowerPoint 2007 is the real thing or the free player version?

Thanks,
Dan

"Licenses" module shows PowerPoint's serial number.
"Applications" module shows which Microsoft Office components are installed.
