Found on Computer

I found this program, SIW_stable_release_86x64_vers-15.9.1009,  in my downloads directory today.  I didn't download it, so I assume it was put there by someone else.  Besides deleting the file, what can I do to make sure I eliminate it from my computer?

We don't have a file called SIW_stable_release_86x64_vers-15.9.1009.

Thanks for the response.  The descriptor for the file lists Topola Software Solutions as the company.  Someone may have modified the original software and renamed it.  I may have downloaded file inadvertently by one of those "deceptive" links.

I'm just trying to figure out if the program was launched as it was put in the downloaded folder.  Does this program normally run as a one time program and then go away or does it leave a monitor installed on the system.  Any way to tell if it has been launched.

Thanks for any input
