Can't install most recent update as update does not shut down open programs and won't proceed if I abort. What programs is it trying to shut down?
Can't install update. program won't shut other programs down

The installer is trying to shutdown the running instance of SIW.
So delete your program and then try to install? If not, what do you recommend I do?

Restart your computer and reinstall SIW.
