Have this laptop- Win 8

MSI GS70 2OD-001US 17.3" LED Notebook - Intel Core i7 i7-4700HQ 2.40 GHz 16 GB RAM - 750 GB HDD - 128 GB SSD - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M

running MBAM Pro & KIS with each making exceptions for the other.. Cyberghost....

Just purchased SIW Tech version. Used SIW for a few minutes exploring info. Then it freezes up laptop. can only manually power off. Since then When i try to shut pc, the screen will go black but power light, keyboard light , fan remains on... can only manually shut down.

Someone suggested holding Shift key when clicking 'shut off' & amazingly it worked.

Removed SIW, did system restore & things were back to normal. Reinstalled SIW , got a freeze up again...same issues..

Any ideas?
