Maybe you have too many users and the request timed out.
What about other Active Directory items?

computers and groups work , users from ad and domain users from other option not work

There is no previous screen.
Please download https://siw64.com/download/siw-debug.zip, unzip it, run siw64.exe, select Users from Active Directory, and send me the generated c:\siw_debug.txt file.

Memory leak issue solved after excluding siw folder in firewall (Spyshelter)
