Start SIW & select passwords
Delete a password for example in your chrome browser's settings
Forget a WiFi network
Click on the refresh button in SIW; the deleted passwords continue to be shown
At one occasion I deleted a single chrome stores pw & then the refresh did work apparently. Looking at the time it takes to first display passwords vs a refresh one can tell something is wrong with the latter happening is less than a second whereas initially it takes multiple seconds
