Hi, I have the technician's version that I bought a couple years back. I just did an internal check for update, and downloaded the latest version. I ran it on one Windows 7 desktop machine with no trouble, but it will not run on a laptop. The symptoms are that it stops at "Checking the registry," CPU usage is 25% for the siw process, and it doesn't get beyond that point. The main window behind it doesn't even display the SIW license info, until I cancel it, at which point the main window displays the SIW license info, and shortly after that the program exits.
If I go back to the desktop, it runs fine again.
Any ideas how I can get it running again? Thanks.
